Water Damage & Mold Assessments

Understand affected materials and moisture conditions after a leak, flood, or recurring water problem.

We confirm the scope, location, and appropriate specialist support before scheduling.

Is this the right service?

  • You see suspect growth, water staining, or damaged building materials.
  • A leak or flood has left uncertainty about the affected area.
  • You need an assessment or independent verification of remediation work.

How we help.

Trace the moisture

Review water history and inspect affected spaces and materials.

Define the extent

Use visual assessment, moisture measurements, and targeted sampling when justified.

Guide correction

Document recommended actions, remediation boundaries, and verification needs.

What you receive.

A clear record your facilities, operations, or EHS team can use.

  • Moisture observations and photographic documentation
  • Likely source and affected-material findings
  • Laboratory results when sampling is part of the scope
  • Recommended corrective work and verification findings when included
Methods, criteria & technical scope

First priority

Stop the water and define what is wet.

EPA and OSHA guidance emphasize moisture control as the foundation of mold prevention and response. After a water event, the immediate technical priorities are to correct the source, identify wet or damaged materials, determine whether materials can be dried or need removal, and document the affected area.

Field assessment

01

Source review

Identify the leak, flood, condensation, drainage, or envelope condition that introduced moisture.

02

Moisture mapping

Use visual observations and moisture measurements to define affected areas and materials.

03

Remediation scope

Identify materials requiring removal, cleaning, drying, containment, or additional evaluation.

04

Verification

Reinspect moisture and cleanliness conditions before the space returns to normal use.

Sampling

Mold sampling is not automatically the first step.

Sampling is most useful when it answers a specific question that visual assessment and moisture investigation cannot resolve. Prudence selects sampling only when the result is expected to improve the decision.
