Is this the right service?

  • Workers raise exposure concerns or a process produces dust, fumes, or vapors.
  • New chemicals, equipment, or work practices may change exposure.
  • You need noise monitoring, exposure data, or evidence to evaluate existing controls.

How we help.

Understand the task

Review materials, duration, work practices, and existing controls.

Measure with a purpose

Develop a sampling strategy and collect the evidence needed for the exposure question.

Explain the options

Interpret results, limitations, and practical control or follow-up needs.

What you receive.

A clear record your facilities, operations, or EHS team can use.

  • The exposure question, task context, and sampling approach
  • Measurement results with the relevant comparison criteria
  • Interpretation and important limitations
  • Recommended controls and follow-up monitoring where needed
Methods, criteria & technical scope

Assessment strategy

The right sample represents the work, not just the room.

Depending on the hazard, an assessment may use personal breathing-zone sampling, task-based measurements, full-shift monitoring, area samples, direct-reading instruments, or laboratory analysis. The strategy is selected to answer a defined exposure question.

Criteria

Exposure limits have different legal and technical roles.

OSHA permissible exposure limits are regulatory requirements where applicable. NIOSH RELs and ACGIH TLVs may provide additional professional reference points. Prudence identifies the criteria used and why they are relevant rather than presenting them as interchangeable thresholds.
